The application form can be filled in English or in Polish. If you have difficulties filling in the form, attaching documents or submitting the form, please contact the Foundation via phone +48 883 188 969 or e-mail: stypendia@skubi.net.

The application form should be filled in completely, and only then should be submitted (the SUBMIT button). While filling in the form, you can save your work at any time (the button with a floppy disc at the end of the form, next to the SUBMIT button). In addition, the system automatically saves your work every 30 seconds. If you interrupt filling in the form, you can get back to it later using the same computer and the same web browser, and your content will reappear (unfortunately, files that you previously attached to the form will not reappear; you will need to attach them again).

Documents (possibly including articles or books) should be attached directly to the application form. If, however, attaching a document to the form is difficult or impossible (e.g., because the document is too big or because you wish to send a book that you have on paper only), please contact us to arrange the way to send the document (electronically or by paper mail).

You can apply by a method other than submitting the form (e.g., by e-mail or by paper mail) only in case of unsolvable problems with the form and only if you get the Foundation’s approval for this.

The receipt of your application form will be acknowledged immediately by this website. Then, within 48 hours you will receive a confirmation e-mail from a person working for the Foundation. If you do not receive these two messages, please contact us, as this may mean that we did not receive your application.

Section Language proficiency: For each language that you can understand, please indicate your proficiency level, according to the scale from A1 to C2 used by the Council of Europe. Language certificates are not required (you can indicate C2 if you are fully proficient, even if you have no diplomas or certificate proving it). Please list any relevant additional information or documents regarding your language proficiency (for example, a certificate is attached or three research articles published in English or I studied law in France for a year (master in …) and completed all exams in French, the diploma is attached).

Section Major achievements in the academic field should describe your academic work in a concise manner.

Section Other information at the end of the form should contain all information that does not belong in other sections, yet may help the Foundation assess your application (e.g., information about you effective social or political activities; an unusually positive recommendation by your academic supervisor or by another person).

Documents to attach to the form:

  1. A curriculum vitae in English or in Polish.
  2. A letter describing your motivation and the proposed program of research to be undertaken during your internship or your academic visit. If you apply both for a scholarship and for a research grant, then you should indicate separately what program you want to undertake if you receive the scholarship, and what — if you receive a grant.
  3. Copies of academic diplomas and, when appropriate, documents substantiating your works performed in the public interest, your social or political activities, your professional experience, your experience in the public service, or language proficiency.
  4. A list of publications, opinions and other works demonstrating your academic and professional achievements. Copies of the most important works. The list of academic publications should be written with clarity, and should follow rules commonly accepted for documents of this kind; among others, for each work mentioned, the list should contain the title in the original language and describe precisely where the work was published.
  5. Certificates confirming foreign languages proficiency, if you hold such certificates.
  6. A letter of recommendation from your academic supervisor, a person to whom you report in your work or another person who can confirm your level of preparedness. It is advisable to attach additional letters of recommendation and names and contact information of persons from whom the Foundation may request an opinion about you.
  7. You may attach other documents useful in evaluating your application.
